Wintertide Lights returns for the month of December in Everett

EVERETT — The winter wonderland is back at Evergreen Arboretum and Gardens at Legion Park, 145 Alverson Blvd.
It happens 4-8 p.m. nightly, Dec. 1 through Dec. 31.
And it’s free.
This is the fourth year for Wintertide Lights, started in response to being pent up during the pandemic. Thousands of lights fill trees, bushes and paths.
“Every year, we strive to exceed expectations, continually adapting to the changing landscape of nature. This year, our dedicated volunteers have surpassed themselves, adorning more trees, bushes, and pathways with radiant lights,” said Renee Greenleaf, Wintertide Lights spokesperson.
This year, the spotlight is on luminaries. Luminary classes are 4-5:30 p.m. Dec. 9 and Dec. 16 in the arboretum classroom. A winter solstice luminary walk is 6-7 p.m. Dec. 21, with luminary bags and a story time in the gazebo.
Donations are accepted. Parking is in the lot by the ballfields.
