SNOHOMISH — The Glacier Peak High School softball team topped the rival Snohomish Panthers 9-5 in a matchup of returning state runner-ups.

Glacier Peak, which took second at last spring’s Class 4A state tournament, improved to 2-0.

Snohomish, which placed second in 3A last season, dropped to 0-3.
