ARLINGTON — The Eagles couldn’t have started the week off with a better result. Not only did they sweep the Grizzlies in three straight sets, 25-23, 25-18, 25-23, they also handed Glacier Peak (12-1 overall, 8-1 league) its first Wesco 4A loss this season. Melissa Hadley had 19 kills and six digs, Emme Shaffer tallied 11 kills and Heather Wood had six kills and 12 digs for the Eagles (8-4, 5-4). Natalie Spelman also contributed 13 digs, and Adriana Rodriguez and Audrey Marsh combined for 34 assists for Arlington. Ava Nowak led the Grizzlies with 13 kills, Lucy Cornelius had 26 assists and seven digs and Hanna Ligons added six kills and three blocks.

MUKILTEO — The Vikings cruised past the Knights in three straight sets: 25-11, 25-17, 25-23. Laura Eichert earned 23 kills and six digs, Jayci Scrivens contributed seven kills and 13 digs and Olivia Gonzales had 35 assists and eight digs for Lake Stevens (10-3 overall, 8-1 league). Kamiak dropped to 5-7, 3-5.

MOUNTLAKE TERRACE — The Wildcats blanked the Hawks in three straight sets to remain undefeated in league play. Set scores were 25-18, 25-18, 25-19. Teuila Halalilo charted 10 kills and 10 assists, Tatum Gill recorded 11 kills, eight digs and three aces and Ashley Fletcher contributed eight kills for Archbishop Muprhy (13-1 overall, 10-0 league). Laura Esping also helped the Wildcats with five kills, 21 assists and seven digs. Sarah Simula had six kills, and Emmy Alley and Hailey Kahklen combined for 10 assists for Mountlake Terrace (4-9, 1-7).
