Shorecrest 75, Lynnwood 32
SHORELINE — A strong shooting night and a 54-rebound game from the Scots (4-4, 2-1) powered them to a runaway victory over the Royals (1-5, 0-3). Shorecrest senior Melody Tagle shined from beyond the arc, scoring a game-high 24 points on eight made 3-pointers — including five in the third quarter. The rest of the team found its stroke as well, as the Scots hit 13 total 3s in the comfortable win. Lynnwood was led by freshman guard Alexis Tamayo’s 13 points.
Meadowdale 89, Shorewood 45
SHORELINE — The Mavericks (3-1, 1-0) earned a road win over the Stormrays (1-5, 0-2) in their first game of league play. Senior Audrey Lucas’ game-high 24 points led Meadowdale while junior Mia Brockmeyer contributed 20 points. Seniors Bridget Cox (18 points) and Vanessa Spadafora (15 points) handled most of the scoring for Shorewood.

Marysville Getchell 36, Marysville Pilchuck 23
MARYSVILLE — The Chargers (1-6, 1-0) earned their first win of the season in a defensive battle against the Tomahawks (0-7, 0-1). Marysville Getchell senior Emma Kirkwood’s 13 points were a game-high while Marysville Pilchuck was led by sophomore Keidi Cameron’s seven points.

Lake Stevens 71, Kamiak 52
LAKE STEVENS — Four double-digit scorers highlighted a solid win for the Vikings (4-2 overall, 1-0 conference). Senior Griffyn Eyman led Lake Stevens with 18 points while Kamiak (3-3, 1-1) junior Zia-Daye Anderson continued her hot start to the season with a game-high 22 points.
Arlington 82, Mariner 35
ARLINGTON — The Eagles (1-4, 1-1) earned their first win of the season thanks to a balanced scoring performance. Arlington had nine players score over five points, as the team shot 58.5% from the field. Senior Kierra Reese stood out, posting a team-high 17 points. Mariner (1-5, 0-2) was paced by junior Jordan Johnson’s game-high 23 points.
Jackson 70, Cascade 14
MILL CREEK — The Timberwolves (4-1, 2-0) cruised to their largest win of the season thanks in part to the efforts of sophomores Makena Devine (23 points) and Alexis Eichhorn (17 points). No individual stats were reported for Cascade (1-5, 0-2).

Mountlake Terrace 43, Cedar Park Christian (Bothell) 39
MOUNTLAKE TERRACE — The Hawks (5-1) held off a comeback attempt by the Eagles (2-3) to secure a close home win. After leading by 10 to start the final quarter, Mountlake Terrace lost their only period of the game by a score of 14-8 in the fourth but were able to close it out defensively. Junior Jordan Wagner led the Hawks with 15 points while senior Jenna Flynn put up a game-high 19 points for CPC Bothell.
Glacier Peak 68, Monroe 39
SNOHOMISH — The Grizzlies (5-1) bounced back from their first loss of the season with an impressive win over the Bearcats (2-4). Seniors Brynna Pukis (26 points, 11 in 3Q) and Rikki Miller (18 points, four 3s) powered Glacier Peak’s attack while senior Cascade Yates’ team-high 11 points paced Monroe.
Lummi Nation 43, Darrington 7
BELLINGHAM — The Blackhawks (6-1) rode a 30-0 first-half lead to a win over the Loggers (3-3). Darrington, playing short-handed due to injuries, was led by sophomore Lilly VanLaningham (four points) and freshman Ava Pater (three points).

Monroe 57, Doherty (Colorado) 52
MONROE — The Bearcats (6-0) stayed perfect with a close win over visiting Doherty (0-3). After a close first quarter, Monroe put the clamps down in the second — winning the period 14-3. A late surge by the Spartans would come up short, as Bearcats Wyatt Prohn (21 points) and Caleb Campbell (17 points, four blocks) had solid showings to lead the team.
Sultan 77, Hoquiam 39
SULTAN — The Turks (3-7) earned their third win in a row after losing their first seven games thanks to a wire-to-wire victory over the visiting Grizzlies (3-4). Sultan senior Taylor Horne led the way with a game-high 22 points while Hoquiam was led by two seven-point scorers in sophomore Ethan Byron and senior Victor Azevedo.
