Edmonds-Woodway 39, Bellingham 37

EDMONDS — Junior Janie Hanson tapped in a missed shot at the final horn to break a 37-37 tie and send the Warriors to 6-1 ahead of the holiday break. The game-winner only marked Hanson’s fourth point of the game, but she made her mark defensively all night with six steals. Senior Abi Porter led the way for Edmonds-Woodway throughout with 15 points and four steals.

Meadowdale 70, King’s 68

SHORELINE — The Mavericks (5-1) escaped the Knights (5-2) to earn their fifth consecutive win. Meadowdale had three double-digit scorers to power their 70-point performance, led by junior Mia Brockmeyer’s 23. No individual stats were reported for King’s.

Jackson 48 North Medford 35

LAKE OSWEGO, Ore. — Sophomore Makena Devine led the Timberwolves (5-2) with 15 points, and freshman Abby Ruiz added 11.

Lynden 52, Stanwood 27

LYNDEN — Undefeated Stanwood’s biggest test of the season proved to be too much, as the Spartans suffered a blowout loss against the Lions. Lynden (8-0), which was recently ranked MaxPreps.com’s sixth-best team in the state, was led by star sophomore Finley Parcher’s game-high 26 points. Stanwood (6-1), which was ranked fifth in the state in the same poll before Saturday’s game, was led by junior Presley Harris’ nine points.

Blaine 29, Cascade 25

EVERETT — The Bruins (1-7) lost a close defensive struggle to the Borderites (1-4). Cascade was led by junior Kiley Osbjornsen’s eight points while Blaine senior Brie Smith had a game-high 10 points.

Darrington 67, Crosspoint Christian 65

DARRINGTON — Darrington junior Hunter Anderson (27 points) and sophomore Grady Stuvland (23 points) combined for 50 points to stave off a late push by the Wildcats. The win marks the Loggers’ fourth in the past five games and brings them to 4-4.

Lakewood 61, Squalicum 56

ARLINGTON — Junior Caleb Green (26 points) and senior Nash Espe (16 points) powered the Cougars to a close home win over Squalicum. The victory pushes Lakewood to 5-1 as conference play approaches.

Lynnwood 56, Marysville Pilchuck 41

MARYSVILLE — The Royals recovered from a two-point first quarter to beat the Tomahawks handily. Lynnwood (2-7) would go on to outscore Marysville Pilchuck (0-9) 34-14 in the second and third, effectively ending the contest. Royals sophomore Cole Betancourt shined with 18 points while junior Hosny El-Aarag had 12. M-P found most of their offense in the waning moments of the game from freshman Michael Rangel-Smathers, who had 19 of his game-high 22 points in the fourth quarter.

Archbishop Murphy 68, Ingraham 50

EVERETT — The Wildcats (4-4) rode a 25-point and 10-assist game from junior Ira Smith to a home win. Archbishop Murphy senior Mateo Love also had a double-double, posting 13 points and 10 rebounds in the win. Ingraham senior Dayne Cardoza had a game-high 35 points as the Rams fell to 2-6.
