Jackson 6, Mount Vernon 0

MOUNT VERNON — The Timberwolves (4-0) stayed undefeated with an all-around road win over the Bulldogs. The win also extended Jackson’s streak of not allowing a run to start the season, as Mount Vernon managed just one hit against Jackson pitcher Drew Pepin (seven Ks). As a result, Jackson’s defense has allowed just seven hits through four games. The Timberwolves offense was spurred by a four-run first inning in which Ashton Bergman (2-for-4, one RBI) and Gavin Clark (1-for-4, two RBI) both doubled.

Stanwood 8, Arlington 3

STANWOOD — Strong offensive pushes in the third and fourth frames propelled the Spartans (4-0) to a convincing win over the Eagles (2-1).

Glacier Peak 10, Everett 4

EVERETT — The Grizzlies (1-2) broke a 2-2 tie in the fifth inning with five runs to earn their first win of the season. Emmett Brown (1-for-3) led Glacier Peak with four RBI while Atticus Quist (1-for-2) led the victors with three runs scored. No individual stats were reported for Everett (0-5).

Kamiak 9, Lynnwood 2

MUKILTEO — Kamiak pitcher Joe Estes managed 26 strikes in 36 pitches en route to a seven-strikeout day in three innings. Colby Koga (2-for-2) scored a team-high three runs while Elijah Bovey and Andrew Fetty (three RBI) chipped in two runs each for the Knights (3-0). Lukas Holmer (1-for-4) finished with one run and one RBI for the Royals (0-3).

Cascade 11, Marysville Getchell 1 (5)

EVERETT — The Bruins (2-2) earned their second run-rule win of the season thanks to a six-run fourth inning. Josh Delap (1-for-1) was stellar running the diamond, stealing three bases en route to a three-run day. Delap joined teammates Steven Wilson (1-for-3) and Logan Crosson (2-for-3) as Bruins with two RBI on the day. Cascade pitcher Marcell Alexander allowed four hits to five strikeouts while Peyton Wallace scored the Chargers’ (0-3) lone run in the first.

Archbishop Murphy 15, Mariner 1 (5)

EVERETT — Cooper Thompson shined on the mound for the Wildcats (3-1), allowing just two hits to 14 strikeouts. Archbishop Murphy’s bats showed up to the tune of a 17-for-35 day as Tim Thomas (2-for-2) and Tony Widmer (1-for-2) led the squad with three RBI, respectively. Andrew White scored Mariner’s lone run in the second and stole two bases as the Marauders dropped to 0-1.

Garfield 3, Shorewood 2

SHORELINE — Two Garfield runs in the sixth inning proved to be the deciding points as the Stormrays (3-1) dropped their first game of the season. Danny Morgan stole four bases and scored a run for Shorewood after being walked twice on the afternoon.

Bishop Blanchet 3, Lake Stevens 2 (8)

LAKE STEVENS — The Vikings (1-1) fell after Bishop Blanchet hit a double with two outs to score the game-winning run in the top of the eighth. Manny McLaurin pitched four innings for Lake Stevens and allowed one hit to six strikeouts. Dylan Phinny (1-for-3) and Kellen Gadin (0-for-2) scored one run each in the loss.

Ballard 4, Shorecrest 2

SEATTLE — The Scots (1-1) dropped their first game of the season after the Beavers capitalized on a game-tying home run in the fourth inning. Koen Ekstrom (1-for-4) batted in both of Shorecrest’s runs.

Oak Harbor 6, Marysville Pilchuck 1

OAK HARBOR — Four late Oak Harbor runs put the game out of reach for the Tomahawks, who dropped to 0-3. Despite the result, Ryker Stewart had a solid outing on the mound for MP with three hits allowed to nine strikeouts before being relieved after four frames. Declan Morrow (1-for-3) scored the lone Tomahawks run in the first inning.

Woodinville 10, Monroe 2

WOODINVILLE — The Falcons scored eight unanswered runs in the fifth and sixth innings to turn a 2-2 ballgame into a late blowout for Monroe (1-2). Adam Manke (2-for-3) and Joe Enrico (0-for-4) each scored one run for Monroe.

GRANITE FALLS — The Knights beat the Tigers (1-2) for the second time in three nights to improve to 2-1. Brady Reiss (2-for-4) and John Bjella (2-for-3) each scored two runs for King’s. No individual stats were reported for Granite Falls.
