SEATTLE — One current Everett AquaSox player and two former ones have been named to the 2025 All-Star Futures Game American League rosters, Major League Baseball announced Monday.

The Mariners have landed 3 prospects on the American League roster: switch-pitcher Jurrangelo Cijntje, catcher Harry Ford and outfielder Lazaro Montes. Three is tied for most in the Majors with the Detroit Tigers. Cijntje pitched for the Frogs on Saturday. Montes led the Northwest League in home runs before being promoted to Double-A Arkansas last week. Ford, who has spent this season in Triple-A Tacoma, played for Everett in 2023.

The game is set for Saturday, July 12 at Truist Park in Cumberland, Georgia. The Futures Game will be played at 1 p.m and will be televised live on MLB Network and MLB.TV.

“It’s a tremendous honor for us to have three players selected to the Futures Game,” said Mariners President of Baseball Operations Jerry Dipoto in a press release. “Harry, Laz, and Jurrangelo are three of the most unique prospects in baseball and we are all looking forward to seeing them represent the M’s in Atlanta.”

Cijntje, 22, is ranked as the Mariners’ top pitching prospect and throws from both the left and right sides. The No. 9 overall prospect in the organization and No. 84 prospect across MLB was selected by the Mariners in the first round (15th overall) of the 2024 MLB First-Year Player Draft out of Mississippi State University.

Ford, 22, will get to play in the Futures Game in his home state of Georgia, where he attended North Cobb High School in Kennesaw. The Mariners selected the right-handed hitting catcher in the first round (12th overall) of the 2021 MLB First-Year Player Draft. This is Ford’s third consecutive Futures Game appearance.
