Community Transit, VOAWW, to host flood relief fundraiser

EVERETT — Community Transit and Volunteers of America Western Washington will host a Stuff-a-Bus donation event on Saturday to collect goods for individuals impacted by record flooding across Snohomish County.

The event is set to take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Snohomish Station Shopping Center, located at 2621 Bickford Ave. in Snohomish. The nonprofit and transit agency are seeking donations of new, unwrapped gifts, new clothes, especially socks, and gift cards to grocery stores, hardware stores and outlet stores.

Volunteers are needed. To sign up, visit volunteer.voaww.org. Monetary donations can be directed to VOAWW and the American Red Cross.
