EVERETT — With Revive I-5 construction back in business, those looking to get to Saturday’s 5 p.m. playoff game against the San Francisco 49ers may want to take a lower-stress option of getting to the game.

Sound Transit will be offering special service from its Sounder commuter rail line, offering a direct trip from Everett to King Street Station, located in Seattle’s International District about a half mile from the stadium. The train will depart Everett at 2:45 p.m., with stops in Mukilteo and Edmonds, and arrive at 3:44 p.m in Seattle. The train will return to Everett 45 minutes after the end of the game.

Sounder fares from Everett to Seattle are $5. To save a couple of dollars, riders can also connect to Link light rail in Lynnwood through Community Transit or Sound Transit bus service. With an ORCA card, transfers are free, so the trip to Seattle will cost $3.

To connect to Everett Station, both Everett Transit and Community Transit offer a number of bus routes serving areas of the city and further-out regions of the county. Community Transit offers an online trip planner to help riders plan their route: communitytransit.org/plan-my-trip.
