Final day of 2010 MLB Draft: More local players picked (Kevin Rodland, Tagen Struhs, Pierce Rankin)

The 2010 Major League Baseball Draft ends today with rounds 31-50. So far, three players with local ties were selected between rounds 34 and 38:

Kevin Rodland, University of Nevada Reno (Snohomish HS)

Picked by the Texas Rangers in the 34th round (1,036th pick overall)

Tagen Struhs, No current college/university (Glacier Peak HS)

Picked by the L.A. Angels in the 37th round (1,134th pick overall)

Pierce Rankin, University of Washington (Shorecrest HS)

Picked by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 38th round (1,146th pick overall)
