TiVo time for the guv’s debate

This evening, Gov. Chris Gregoire and Dino Rossi are lacing up to throw a few rhetorical punches in their second debate.

It’s taking place in the Semiahmoo Resort in Blaine which means they can probably find a spa or whirlpool to recoup afterwards. Separate ones I would hope.

This one is not televised or broadcast or streamed live. It will be on TVW this Sunday night at 6 and 8. It also will be available on the station’s Web site. Set the recorder.

Next week, on Wed. Oct. 1, debate #3 will take place in Yakima. The 7 p.m. event in the Capitol Theater will be televised live on KCTS Channel 9, a PBS station, and KYVE 47.

KCTS 9’s Enrique Cerna will moderate the debate and viewers may submit questions for the candidates to connects@KCTS9.org.
