Herd instinct

The first Border Collie Style Classic Sheep Dog Trial in Arlington attracted prodigious pooches and their owners Friday. The contest is held with the handler guiding the dog with verbal commands or a whistle in an attempt to herd four sheep into a pen. Each dog starts off with a perfect score, and points are deducted for errors such as weaving the sheep. The contest continues dawn to dusk through Sunday.
