Limar’s hot shooting leads Everett to victory

EVERETT – Reggie Limar shot 7-for-12 from the floor and led all scorers with 15 points to propel the Everett boys basketball team to a 64-36 non-conference victory over Cascade Wednesday night.

“After two tough losses last week, we knew it was time to come out with redemption and recommit ourselves defensively. I am very pleased,” said Everett coach Darrell Olson.

Everett, which improved its overall record to 4-3, went into halftime with a 26-13 advantage and never looked back. Everett outscored the Bruins 38-23 in the second half.

Josh Daniels poured in 11 points and added nine rebounds for the Seagulls.

Junior guard Marcus Hansen sank two 3-point field goals for Cascade (4-3) to lead them in scoring with eight points.
