Has shutdown increased reports of domestic violence?

The government shutdown and domestic violence will affect our community in a way some might not realize, I believe.

A good percentage of domestic violence started over financial reasons. As is the case with suicide.

I know this shutdown was not just an “inconvenience,” as some claimed. It could very well harm families.

If they do a study after this fiasco, it would sadly prove me right.
