EVERETT — A man and a woman were found dead in an Everett apartment Wednesday morning after an apparent domestic violence incident, police say.

Just before 7 a.m., police were dispatched to an apartment in the 9900 block of Holly Drive, Everett officer Kerby Duncan said. Officers found a witness who told them a gun was pointed at them inside one of the apartments.

Officers forced entry into the apartment for a welfare check. Inside they found the man and woman, both in their 40s, deceased with gunshot wounds, Duncan said. No arrests were made and no suspects were believed to be at large.

Police believe one of the deceased was responsible for the killings.

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Officer will identify both people, as well as determine the cause and manner of their deaths.
