Missing EdCC student found safe by family in Lynnwood

Police consider the case closed and thanked everyone who helped with the search.

LYNNWOOD — An exchange student from Mongolia reported missing two weeks ago has been found safe, Lynnwood police said Thursday.

Family located Battulga Batbold in the Lynnwood area, police Sgt. Sean Doty said.

The 23-year-old had been attending Edmonds Community College. When he was reported missing, those close to him had said he was last seen at his apartment July 1.

Police consider the case closed and thanked everyone who helped with the search.
