Missing girl, 4, found dead in Silver Lake in Everett

EVERETT — A 4-year-old girl reported missing Saturday at Silver Lake was found dead early Sunday morning.

A person helping search the lake and nearby park for the child saw her around 2 a.m., according to the Everett Police Department. Everett Fire Department responders recovered her body from the lake.

The incident is under investigation, but officers don’t believe foul play was a factor.

Further information about the child and her family was not released.
