Rescuers find man on Mount Pugh

DARRINGTON – A 52-year-old Bellevue man was rescued Wednesday after being lost for three days on Mount Pugh south of Darrington.

The man used his cell phone Sunday to call his boss to report that he was unable to get off the mountain.

Tuesday night, a Snohomish County sheriff’s sergeant located the man’s vehicle at the trailhead. Rescuers located the man in rugged terrain Wednesday morning and helped him walk out.
