EDMONDS — Police on Tuesday were investigating a report of a student bringing a gun onto the Edmonds Woodway High School campus earlier in the day.
Detectives were working with the Edmonds School District, police reported over social media Tuesday afternoon.
It wasn’t immediately clear if the weapon displayed was real or not, said Kimberlee Armstrong, a school district spokeswoman.
The student left campus right after displaying the apparent firearm and police were looking for him, she said.
He was later taken into custody.
The suspect was located in north Everett by police there, Edmonds police Sgt. Josh McClure reported on social media.
