Teen boys wounded in shooting

SNOHOMISH — Two boys, ages 15 and 17, were wounded this afternoon in a shooting in a Snohomish area home.

Snohomish County Sheriff’s deputies found the two lying on the driveway at a home at 14409 80th St. SE. The shooting was reported at 12:11 p.m. by the 15-year-old’s brother, who was inside the house when the gunfire occurred.

Investigators are at the scene but the motive for the shooting was not immediately known. The 15-year-old boy was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. The 17-year-old boy was taken to Providence General Medical Center Colby Campus in Everett. Both are expected to survive, deputies said.
