Tracking those highway stimulus dollars online

Washington’s Department of Transportation quietly launched a Web page Tuesday for the public to follow the federal stimulus dollars as they are spent on state highway projects.
The page is titled Washington Jobs Now
Go there now and you can get up to speed with a look at the list of projects House and Senate transportation leaders are proposing be carried out with $341 million in federal money.Thee’s also info on the legislation to make it happen.
Eventually, there will be data on each approved project.
You can also hop from this page to recovery.gov where you are supposed to be able to track every dollar doled out in the $787 billion federal stimulus package.
