Zippy’s Java plans to re-open Friday

Marilyn Rosenberg, owner of Everett’s Zippy’s Java Lounge, plans to re-open at a new location April 1 at 2811 Wetmore Ave. It’s a soft opening with just coffee, pastries and bagels available. She expects the coffee shop to be fully up to speed by the following week.

“It really has the same feel but better. The colors are fun and the building has a nice fresh feel,” she said.

Rosenberg left her old location last fall because of the rent. At first, she wanted to relocate to a place on Broadway but that didn’t work out.
