Taxpayer expenses hurt

After reading the article regarding the hospital costs for convicted killer Charles Finch, I believe that’s just part of the problem (“Finch’s care is proving costly,” Nov. 22). Let’s make it a law that all legal costs that come out of the taxpayers’ pockets for each case be published in the paper.

Finch killed a blind man and a deputy sheriff. The jury said to execute him but judges set this aside because he had come into court in handcuffs and a hobble. I think cases such as this should be handled on a contract basis in Saudi Arabia.
