22 local wrestlers make it to Mat Classic XXXVI semifinals.

TACOMA—Twenty-two local boys and girls Class 3A and 4A high school wrestlers advanced to the semifinals at Mat Classic XXXVI Thursday at the Tacoma Dome.

An additional 26 grapplers were still in position to take home medals.

Wrestling was to continue on Friday with semifinals and medal rounds for Class 3A and 4A set to begin at 4:30. Preliminary rounds for 2A, 1A, 2B and 1B classes were to begin Friday morning at 9 a.m. with semifinals and medal rounds scheduled to take place Saturday.
