AquaSox fall to Dust Devils for 4th straight loss

Tyler Locklear collects four hits, but Everett falls 11-1.

EVERETT — The Tri-City Dust Devils jumped out to a seven-run lead after three innings and rolled to an 11-1 win over Everett on Thursday night at Funko Field and handed the AquaSox their fourth straight loss.

Christian Sepulveda homered and drove in three runs, and Arol Vera, Adrian Placencia and Joe Stewart all had two runs batted in for Tri-City (11-12).

Tyler Locklear went 4-for-4 with two doubles and collected half of the AquaSox’s hits in the game.

Reid VanScoter started on the mound for Everett (11-12) and allowed seven runs on nine hits in 4.2 innings. VanScoter struck out eight and walked three.
