AquaSox surrender 4 home runs in loss to Emeralds

EUGENE, Ore. — Everett AquaSox pitchers allowed four home runs as the Sox fell 5-1 to the Eugene Emeralds on Tuesday night at PK Park.

Patrick Bailey hit a two-run homer and Hunter Bishop, Luis Toribio and Vaun Brown added solo shots for the Emeralds (3-1).

Dariel Gomez hit a solo home run for Everett (2-2).

Mason Black (2-1) struck out five and allowed one run on three hits and one walk for Eugene.

Everett’s Juan Mercedes (3-4) fanned 10 batters over six innings and surrendered three runs on four hits.
