The 3A tournament starts with four loser-out games Friday, with the winners advancing to Tuesday’s quarterfinals. The Class 4A District 1/2 tournament gets underway Monday at Phil Johnson Fields. Defending state champion Jackson (19-2) is the No. 2 seed and will face the winner of a loser-out game between No. 10 Glacier Peak (11-7) and the Kingco No. 5 in the quarterfinals. Lake Stevens (15-3) is the No. 5 seed and will face the Kingco No. 3 in the quarters. Kamiak (14-4) is the No. 8 seed and will face the Kingco No. 6 in a loser-out game for the right to face the Kingco No. 1 in the quarters. The Kingco tournament concludes Thursday night to determine the Kingco seeds. Five teams advance to state.

In the Class 1B District 1/2 tournament, Darrington is one of the two No. 1 seeds. The Loggers host the winner of Monday’s loser-out game between No. 2 Quilcene and No. 3 Concrete at 4 p.m. Wednesday, with the winner of that game advancing to the championship game and securing a state berth.

The Class 1A Emerald Sound Conference tournament doesn’t begin until next Thursday as teams complete their regular season this week. One team advances to state.
