Jackson dominated All-League swim honors

The Timberwolves claim 19 of 21 first-team spots.

Wesco has released its All-League 4A and 3A girls swimming and diving teams. Jackson High School, which placed third at the Class 4A state meet, dominated the all-league team, claiming 19 of the 21 spots among the nine individual events and four relay teams. Senior Olivia Hoyla and junior Julia Song both earned four first-team awards, while junior Elissa Anderson earned honors in three first-team and one second-team event. Jackson’s Drew Whorley was named the Wesco 4A coach of the year. Stanwood’s Rita Peterson earned the coaching honor for the Wesco 3A North, while Edmonds-Woodway’s Michael Lesaca won it for the Wesco 3A South.
