New football coaches around the state

With the hiring of Mike Don to replace Mark Stewart as Meadowdale’s football head coach I thought it might be a good time to post this, courtesy David Maley.

Here’s all the coaching changes that have occurred since the end of the season:

* If a new coach has (1st) next to his name, it is his first head coaching job in Washington.

Joe Marsh, Arlington High School girls basketball coach, dies at 57

Marsh, considered one of the state’s all-time great high school basketball coaches, lost a four-year battle with stage 4 prostate cancer on Wednesday.
