SEDRO-WOOLLEY — Snohomish’s Parker Jackson caught five passes for 99 yards, but the the Cubs ran past the Panthers in a conference game. Quarterback Evan Ruiz passed for 263 yards and two touchdowns, and Mason Surdi hauled in eight receptions for 76 yards and a TD. Panthers’ running back Brody Strandt led the ground game with 19 carries for 77 yards and a score.

For Sedro-Woolley (3-0 overall, 2-0 league), Cliff Tadema completed 11 of 17 passes for 217 yards along with one rushing and three passing touchdowns. Quentin Cobbs four receptions for 107 yards and two touchdowns.

Snohomish dropped to 0-3, 0-1.

Northwest 2A

Lynden 42, Marysville Pilchuck 21

LYNDEN — The Lions bested the Tomahawks in a conference game. Lynden (3-0 overall, 1-0 league) had 27 carries for 138 yards. Marysville Pilchuck (0-3, 0-3) tallied 49 carries for 343 yards.
