Prep volleyball: King’s 3, Lakewood 0

MARYSVILLE — With a combined 17 kills from Caitlin Fransen and Payton Young, King’s upended Lakewood (4-5 league, 4-5 overall) in three sets 25-15, 25-13 and 25-17. Fransen had nine kills and Young added eight for the Knights (9-0, 9-0). Also, Mckenzie Daniels provided 24 assists and three aces for the Knights. Lakewood’s Brittany Parmentier had nine kills and nine digs in the loss.
