Seahawks-Chiefs Wednesday injury report

Pete Carroll mentioned that linebacker Brock Coyle, who has started the past two games at middle linebacker, played through some sort of injury Sunday, so it’s no surprise that he was on the injury report having not practiced Wednesday with a glute injury. Marshawn Lynch is on the list again with a calf injury, which kept him out of practice last Thursday. The only other potentially unexpected news on the report was the inclusion of Jeremy Lane, who was limited with a groin injury. Lane just came off of short-term injured reserve with a groin injury, so it will be worth monitoring this week if they are just resting the existing issue or if a new injury occurred Sunday or in practice Wednesday. Carroll did not mention Lane when talking about injuries during his Wednesday press conference, which happens before practices.
