Stealth win NLL Champion’s Cup

EVERETT — Lewis Ratcliff scored five goals to lead the Washington Stealth to a 15-11 victory over the Toronto Rock in the National Lacrosse League’s Champion’s Cup on Saturday night at Comcast Arena.
A team-record crowd of 8,609 witnessed the victory, which saw the Stealth come from four goals down in the second half to win.
Ratcliff was named the game’s MVP.
The Stealth trailed 10-6 in the third quarter before scoring eight straight goals to take control of the game.
The Stealth, who moved to the Northwest from San Jose, Calif., last June, finished their first season in the Northwest with a 14-5 record and the first NLL championship in franchise history.
