Meadowdale High School graduate Emma Helm is having an impact as a freshman catcher for the top-ranked University of Washington softball team. Here’s some video highlights from her season:

Her first collegiate home run tied the score in the sixth inning of Washington’s game against Arizona on March 24:

Then Helm chugged around the bases to score the winning run in extra innings as the Huskies prevailed 4-3:

Helm’s second homer was a moonshot against Stanford in an 8-1 victory on March 29:

Two days later she smacked a two-run double in a 9-0 victory over the Cardinal:
