EVERETT — Archbishop Murphy’s Hans VanderWel started at quarterback in place of Connor Kruse, who was injured in a game against Lakewood, and rushed for 61 yards on four carries with a 34-yard touchdown run in the first half and a 23-yarder in the second half as the Wildcats won their homecoming game. VanderWel added 22 yards through the air with a 2-for-6 passing night and Cameron Guy returned a punt 55 yards to close out the Wildcats’ 26-point first half. Alex Galgano rushed for 65 yards on six carries for the Wildcats, who had nine different players carry the ball, totaling 259 yards on 27 carries. Kyle Everett led Granite Falls with 13 carries for 40 yards.
