Prep girls soccer: Cedarcrest 3, Archbishop Murphy 1

DUVALL — Cedarcrest moved alone into first place atop the Cascade Conference with the victory. Murphy got on the board first, but Karli White answered quickly with an 11th-minute goal assisted by Maggie Pleis. Pleis then scored in the 19th minute. Gwen Bieck scored a late insurance goal off an assist from Jess Hinton. Bailey Parish was keeper for Cedarcrest (9-1 league, 11-1 overall) with Anna Whitehouse in goal for Archbishop Murphy (8-2, 10-2).
