Luke Kuna

Snohomish | Baseball

Kuna, a senior, pitched a complete game three-hitter for the Panthers in a 4-1 victory over Cascade in the 4A District 1 Championship game on Thursday. Kuna also batted 1-for-3 with an RBI.

Hannah Larson

Marysville Pilchuck | Softball

Larson, a senior, batted 3-for-5 with a double, three RBI and the game-winning hit in the ninth inning of Wednesday’s 7-6 win over Meadowdale. The win gave the Tomahawks a share of the Wesco 3A North title with Everett.

Jason Fairhurst

Snohomish | Boys Soccer

Fairhurst, a junior, scored both goals in the Panthers’ 2-1 win over Cascade in a winner-to-state/loser out game of the 4A District 1 Tournament on Saturday.

Jackson | Girls Tennis

Sandquist, a senior, defeated Lake Stevens’ Shaelyn Huot 6-3, 7-5 to win the 4A District 1 singles championship last Wednesday.

Arlington | Boys Golf

Faux shot a seven-over 79 to earn co-medalist honors at last Tuesday’s Wesco 3A North championships.

Meadowdale | Girls Golf

Rood shot a seven-over 79 to earn medalist honors at last week’s Wesco 3A South championships.

Ronnie Gary

Shorewood | Boys Track

Gary, a senior, won the high jump with a leap of 6 feet, 6 inches at last Friday’s Wesco 3A South championships at Edmonds Stadium. The Thunderbirds placed first as a team.

Wurrie Njadoe

Shorecrest | Girls Track

Njadoe, a senior, won the 100, 200, high jump and long jump at last week’s Wesco South championships at Edmonds Stadium. The Scots finished third as a team.

Jack Delich

Stanwood | Boys Lacrosse

Delich scored one goal and dished five assists to lead Stanwood to the 15-10 win over Nathan Hale in the first round of the state tournament on Saturday.
