The house busts: The 24-story Riviera Hotel and Casino, one of the last ties to Las Vegas’ mobster past, crumbled in a controlled implosion that brought down the 60-year-old building.

In a nod to its one-time Chicago mob ties, the implosion was set off by a sharply attired man who said: “Nice place yous got here. It’d be a shame if something unfortunate were to happen to it.”

Ooh, it makes we wonder: A jury is hearing testimony in a lawsuit brought by the trustee for late guitarist Randy Wolfe that claims that Led Zepplin’s “Stairway to Heaven” took its famous opening guitar riff from Wolfe’s song, “Taurus,” which was written four or five years before “Stairway.”

If the jury finishes quickly it will be asked to select the 100 top Classic Rock albums and then settle who had the greater solo career: John Lennon or Paul McCartney.

Vlad the hacker: Russian government hackers broke into Democratic National Committee computers and were able to read the party’s opposition research on Donald Trump.

Why go to all that trouble? The most damaging dirt on Trump comes directly from his own mouth.
