Mount Vernon accountant earns fraud examiner credential

The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners has awarded Bekki Cox, of Mount Vernon’s BC Accounting, a globally preferred Certified Fraud Examiner credential.
In order to become a CFE, Cox had to meet a stringent set of criteria and pass a rigorous exam. The CFE credential demonstrates knowledge in fraudulent financial transactions, fraud prevention and deterrence, legal elements of fraud and fraud investigation.
