LYNNWOOD — The first-in-the-state location for Los Angeles-headquartered pizza chain MidiCi opens in Lynnwood this weekend.
MidiCi: The Neapolitan Pizza Company will be at 3000 184th St. SW, Suite 948, at the Alderwood mall next to Panera Bread.
The restaurant plans to give away one free 12-inch margherita pizza per day, Saturday through Monday, to customers from 11 a.m. to closing. Pizza is dine-in only with additional toppings an extra cost. The business features what it calls “fast-fine” dining, what it describes as an upscale dining atmosphere while maintaining the affordability of a casual restaurant.
MidiCi serves traditional Neapolitan cuisine with fresh ingredients cooked in handmade ovens at 1,000 degrees Fahrenheit.
“Opening the first location in Lynnwood marks a milestone in MidiCi’s expansion,” franchisee Soyam Vahora said in a press release. “We’re confident our traditional ingredients and inspiring atmosphere will create a lasting bond with the Pacific Northwest community for years to come.”
The company started in 2015 and has franchises in 10 states, including Washington.
The menu by restaurateurs and chefs Peppe Miele and Mario Vollera honors the Naples, Italy, way of baking pizza. MidiCi, pronounced Mee-Dee-Chee, means “You tell me” in Italian.
