Faith Ayodeji

Lake Stevens | Girls Track and Field

Ayodeji, a junior, won the shot put Saturday at the 33rd annual Viking Relay Championships at Curtis High School with a personal-best throw of 37 feet, 11.5 inches.

Brandon Bach

Mountlake Terrace | Boys Track and Field

Bach, a senior, threw the javelin 184-7 in a three-team meet Thursday at Edmonds Stadium. The mark is the best in the state this season, according to www.athletic.net.

Devin Kim

Kamiak | Boys Golf

Kim shot a 1-under-par 67 on March 19 to claim medalist honors in a four-team match at Legion Memorial Golf Course in Everett. Kim’s performance helped the Knights hold off host Everett for the top spot in the team results.

Josh Latimer

Lynnwood | Baseball

Latimer, a senior, threw a five-hitter in the Royals’ 9-2 victory over Lakewood on March 19. Latimer struck out 12, didn’t walk a batter and went 3-for-4 at the plate.

Iyanla Pennington

Jackson | Softball

Pennington, a senior, struck out 16 Snohomish batters in a two-hit shutout as the Timberwolves blanked the Panthers 3-0 Wednesday. The Coastal Carolina-bound Pennington walked two and allowed just two singles. She also accounted for all of Jackson’s runs with a double, a home run and three RBI.

Bretta Petersen

Shorewood | Girls Tennis

Petersen, a senior, rebounded from a first-set defeat to win 4-6, 6-4, 6-1 at No. 2 singles in the Thunderbirds’ 4-3 victory over Jackson.

Jake Williams

Jackson | Boys Soccer

Williams, a senior, recorded a hat trick in the Timberwolves’ 4-0 win over Monroe on Friday.
