MARYSVILLE — Bradley Johnson struck out 10 hitters in five innings and added an RBI at the plate to help lead Marysville Getchell over crosstown rival Marysville Pilchuck 10-0 in the season-opening baseball game for both schools.

After having last season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, local high school spring sports teams returned to the field for the first time in almost two years this week.

Josiah Koellmer went 2-for-2 with a run scored and Jack Johnson had a double and an RBI for the Chargers.
