NON-LEAGUE

Peninsula 8, Jackson 6

MILL CREEK — Peninsula scored three in the seventh inning to hand Jackson a non-league loss.

Michael Lunan went 3-for-3 with a run scored, Hunter Komine 2-for-4 with two runs scored and Dominic Hellman and Connor Taber each went 2-for-2 with an RBI for the Timberwolves (11-4).

Peninsula improved to 11-4.

SOFTBALL

Glacier Peak 9, Decatur 2, Game 1

SNOHOMISH — Skyler Anderson hit a home run and had three RBI as Glacier Peak topped Decatur in the first game of a doubleheader.

Faith Jordan picked up the win in the circle of the Grizzlies (9-1) and also hit a pair of doubles. Lauren Hufford added a triple and an RBI and Laila Carpenter a double and an RBI.

The Gators fell to 7-2.

Glacier Peak 5, Decatur 4, Game 2

SNOHOMISH — Bri Titus delivered two solo home runs and Glacier Peak edged Decatur to secure a sweep of a doubleheader.

Maya Mesa earned the win in the circle and also drove in a run for the Grizzlies (10-1). Faith Jordan and Natalie Dimitrov each added doubles.

Decatur fell to 7-3.
