LAKE GOODWIN — A Stanwood man who died after crashing into a power pole near Lake Goodwin on Saturday has been identified.

Around 2:30 p.m., Jordan J. A. Miller was driving in the 14900 block of West Lake Goodwin Road when he lost control, Snohomish County sheriff’s detectives found. He left the road, hit several rocks and crashed into a power pole, according to a news release sent Monday. The impact ejected him from the vehicle.

Deputies found the man dead at the scene. The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office determined he died of blunt force injuries. He was 22.

A passenger, a 15-year-old girl, was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett with minor injuries, according to the sheriff’s office.
