Every year The Daily Herald takes nominations and lets readers vote for the Best of Snohomish County Awards. There are dozens of categories, but here are the 2022 top choices for best happy hour:

First Place: Emory’s on Silver Lake in Everett

Emory’s sold their Silver Lake eatery to Anthony’s Restaurants in March 2022. The new owners kept Emory’s famous happy hours, woodstone pizza and steak dinners.

Emory’s offers seafood risotto and Northwest bouillabaisse on a huge deck overlooking Silver Lake. The restaurant’s high beams and stone fireplaces emulate a large ski lodge, providing a warm atmosphere for both weddings and first dates, after-work drinks and large family get-togethers.

Second Place: Anthony’s Woodfire Grill in Everett

Third Place: Ivar’s in Mukilteo

Additional Nominees:

Lombardi’s Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar in Everett & Mill Creek

Applebees

Village Taphouse & Grill in Marysville
