Every year The Daily Herald takes nominations and lets readers vote for the Best of Snohomish County Awards. There are dozens of categories, but here are the 2022 top choices for best dessert:

First Place: Snohomish Pie Co. in Snohomish and Mountlake Terrace

At Snohomish Pie Company, all products are made fresh from scratch daily at its locations in downtown Snohomish and Mountlake Terrace. Their menu offers lunch items, baked goods, and of course, pies.

Second Place: Despi Delite Bakery in Everett

Third Place: Choux Choux Bakery in Everett
