MARYSVILLE — Highway 529 is set to close overnight Wednesday between Ebey Slough and I-5.

Crews contracted by the Washington State Department are working on the overhaul of the highway interchange. This closure is so crews can restripe some northbound lanes of Highway 529, depending on the weather.

The restriping lets the crews shift traffic, which will remain for about a year, to build a roundabout and ramps for the interchange.
