Every year The Daily Herald takes nominations and lets readers vote for the Best of Snohomish County Awards. There are dozens of categories, but here are the 2022 top choices for best burger.

First Place: Nutty’s Junkyard Grill in Arlington

You’ll know you’re at Nutty’s once you spot a big red barn right off the Centennial Trail. At Nutty’s, you can sit inside for a rustic Americana atmosphere, or catch some sun at one of the picnic tables outside. They offer a “buckle-loosening meal” from burgers with Double R Ranch beef, milkshakes and crispy onion rings.

Fun fact: The burger menu consists of theme names like dual quad, Shelby bleu and trunk junk.

Second Place: Ray’s Drive In in Everett

Third Place: Mikie’s in Everett

Additional Nominees:

Pilchuck Drive In, King Charley’s Drive In, The Lodge Sports Grille, Red Robin
