2024 state boys and girls tennis preview

The final popping of tennis ball cans for the 2023-24 season is right around the corner as the high school state boys and girls tournaments take place Friday and Saturday at various locations around the state.
The Class 4A tournaments are at Kamiakin High School and The Pacific Clinic in Kennewick, the Class 3A tournament at the Vancouver Tennis Center, the Class 2A tournament is at the Nordstrom Tennis Center in Seattle, and the Class 1A and 2B/1B tournaments are at the Yakima Tennis Club.
Here are the local players who are competing at state, along with their first-round opponents:
