EVERETT — Drivers licensing offices throughout the state will be closed Feb. 14-17 to upgrade software systems, the Washington Department of Licensing said.

Vehicle and boat services will also be unavailable. Online services for driver licensing will be down Feb. 10-17.

Vehicle licensing offices, operated by private businesses which provide car registrations and title transfers, will also be closed Feb. 14-17, said Julie Vannoy, the owner of Julie’s Licensing Services in Everett.

The closures will allow for system upgrades to “enhance customer service, add security features and better support mobile devices,” the state licensing department said in January. The last planned outage of licensing services was in July 2021.
